The Blinking Heading

(Netscape Browsers Only)

*

BLINK = causes the text to blink.

But only with Netscape Browsers.

It is generally regarded as a PITA.

The word Link is used for other reason, all very little to do with the blasted Blinking

LINK is used to specify colours:

LINK = text-links - Blue
VLINK = text-links already used - Purple
ALINK = text-links as the mouse button is clicked - Red

Other definitions (not related to the above...)

CLINK = link to page under Construction (or an old prison in London)
BLINK = measure of how long it takes to absorb the content on a typical page
SLINK = standard mode of locomotion for spam-artists
ULINK = for the D.I.Y who type in the URL instead of just clicking on the tag
RLINK = Recursive link to current spot on the current page
4LINK = Web surfer's sublimation of foreplay
XLINK = jump to porn page, usually paired with 4LINK
PLINK = connection to Psychiatrists - in your wallet for life
$LINK = phone bill after too many PLINKs and XLINKs

(A credit to Jerry Muelver for these definitions.)
