Notes:

The spelling of color in HTML is unfortunately accurate - UK users please note! Seven basic bright colors are provided with additional darker versions as a contrast, plus Black and White.

There are 216 other 'safe' colors which are accepted by most browsers. These should not be named but use the #000000 notation. The safe colors are variations of 00 33 66 99 CC FF - any other colours will be subject to local interpretation and dithered into an unusual and mottled effect.

None of the colors on the Internet are likely to be accurate according to artist's standards and will also vary according to the users display brightness settings.
